Okay so we're a little late on this congratulations, but the Elgar Adventure Blog staffers have been holed up in remote Uganda for the past three weeks and were starting to consider messenger pigeons as a faster and more reliable communication vehicle than dial-up, generator-powered internet (even factoring in the extinction of these pigeons).
A HUGE congratulations to Jon and Kristi on their recent engagement. Amazing news. We've returned to Kenya and the overall consensus here is a very positive reaction to this union. It goes without saying that the Maasai are once again opposed, but they're a fickle bunch.
