We posted new pics!
Went to the 'weekend market' today - supposedly the biggest in the world, and I believe it. We made a few pathetic attempts at bargaining and picked up a couple of things to compliment the traveller's wardrobe. Spent some time in downtown Bangkok which is a completely different world from our backpacker street. Giant sparkling malls, international stores, movie theatres - you could be anywhere.
Created our own Khao San Road pub crawl last night with Tara from Queen's and her friend Megan. We've only been gone for a few days but it was already really nice to see someone from home!
We had no jet lag at all. It seems that if you completely reverse your time it's easier than a few hours' difference. The heat is another story...
Tim would like me to mention that we've had 166 visitors, and he's hoping that by the time we arrive in Chiang Mai on Wednesday it will break 200. Big thanks to Sarah (LOVE the user name) for our first comment! P.S. I'm afraid Tim is turning me into a computer geek.

Everything looks incredible. Starting the countdown until Laura gets the super-short haircut. Over/Under date is currently set at Nov 30.
No snake's blood yet - plenty of cashew chicken though.
Solid call on the Nov 30 over/under for Laura's "GI Jane". She seems to want to try some nappy dreads first though, so Dec 15 might be closer.
